WRITING RESOURCES FOR CHILDREN’S AUTHORS + ILLUSTRATORS

Kidlit 411: This platform is so amazing. I strongly believe you can learn everything you need to learn about writing for free, and this website is proof! It has a newsletter you can subscribe to as well as a Facebook community you can connect and get help from other creators.

Helping Writers Become Authors: K.M Weiland’s blog+podcast+books are chock full of resources that will help you fine-tune your story. I personally used her advice when fleshing out my characters.

Tara Lazar‘s blog and newsletter are great for picture book creators.

I love Debbie Ohi‘s work and she is super helpful too. Her site has lots of great information.
